The majority of Dragon War takes place in the year 

2555, on the small planet of Terram. Originally

named Nasaalina by the native people, Terram

was overthrown by a group of humans who

called themselves the Manivoans, who

renamed the planet according to the word

for Earth, Terra.

Terram is a relatively small planet, with an

atmosphere that is almost identical to Earth's.

The surface of the planet is over 60% oceans,

with only one main landmass and several small

islands. The climate of Terram fluctuates depending

on location, ranging from frigid icy mountains to dense

forests to spans of sandy desert. 

​

Terram is home to numerous species of animals, including

what the Manivoans have dubbed "dragons." These are creatures that often resemble what humans would identify as reptiles, but they can range anywhere from house-sized, winged creatures to small, flightless animals that could fit in your hand.
